    ARTHUR ERNEST AUER (Age 88) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur Ernest Auer on January 9 at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland at age 88.  Art leaves his wife of 62 years, Lois (Konvicka) Auer; his daughter, Carol Auer and her husband Michael Green; and many close friends and relatives. Art was born in Kingston, MA and grew up in New York City where he attended Stuyvesant High School. He graduated from Cornell University in 1954 with a degree in chemistry and agronomy.
